How personal data is processed.

This notice explains how data is processed when you use our website and how to contact us about privacy.

Website operation and hosting

The website is hosted with IONOS. Requests involve technical connection data, such as the IP address, time, requested file, data volume and browser information. This data is used to deliver the website, maintain stability and security, and detect misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

Contact and enquiries

When you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide to deal with your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contract-related enquiries. Other communication is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our interest in responding to enquiries effectively.

You provide this information voluntarily. Without the details needed to handle an enquiry, we may be unable to answer it.

Local language preference

When you select German or English, the website can store that choice in your browser’s local storage under sashimi_menu_language . This retains your chosen language for later visits. This setting is not used for advertising or to analyse your browsing behaviour.

Storage supports the language feature you requested (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). You can change the language at any time or delete the entry through your browser’s website data settings.

Local website notice

The website notice can store your choice under sashimi_cookie_consent in your browser’s local storage so that the notice does not reappear on every visit. In the script currently used, this choice only controls the display of the notice; it does not activate analytics or marketing tracking.

Local settings remain stored until you change them or clear the website data in your browser. The functions described do not send them to an advertising service.

Product images and technical service providers

Some product images are loaded from sushisupply.de , another website for which Sashimi W&W GmbH is responsible. The connection data needed to request the images is sent to the image server. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is displaying our menus.

Recipients may include technical providers for hosting and communication. Other disclosures take place only where necessary for an enquiry or contract, or where there is a legal basis.

External ordering pages and links

Ordering links lead to external ordering and delivery platforms. You access the relevant provider’s service when you open such a link. Its privacy notice applies to its own processing. Your contracting party is identified in the specific offer.

Where we receive order data to fulfil an order, we process it for contract performance under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Retention

Retention depends on the purpose: technical data on the needs of secure operation, enquiry data on handling the matter, and contract records on applicable retention and evidential requirements. Data is deleted when its purpose no longer applies and no legal obligation or legitimate reason requires it to be retained.

Local browser settings can be deleted as described in the language preference and website notice sections.

Your data protection rights
